During the beginning stages of creating my first print ad, I begun with this very simple draft. It features a picture that I took of Roker Pier with the the short text that reads 'Regional Identity' in the default Photoshop font, 'Arial'. In the image shown above, I have experimented with a different font as well as adding a border around the edges of the print. While experimenting with my print ad, I decided to try an overlay by choosing a sun image from google and pasting it onto my Photoshop project. I experimented with the 'Linear Dodge (add)' blending mode in 'Layers' These were some of the responses that I received on my feedback form This feedback told me that the improvements that I needed to make involved playing around with the colours and balance, making the font more clear as well as making the shine less bright.
